What caused Vioxx to be pulled from the market?
Merck’s Vioxx, also called Ceoxx and Ceeoxx at one point, was withdrawn from distribution in late 2004 due to concerns over heart attack and stroke risks to users. Many also recognize it by its medical name, Rofecoxib.
